Tromsø → Senja → Vesterålen → Lofoten → Bodø. Two ferries, six overnights, all the iconic stops.
Day 1
Start: Tromsø
Open in maps ↗Fly into Langnes. Pick up the rental, sleep one night near the harbour to acclimatise. Don't rush onto the islands the same day you land.
Day 2
Tromsø → Botnhamn ferry → Senja
Open in maps ↗Drive to Brensholmen (90 min), board the ferry to Botnhamn (45 min). On Senja, head straight for the Tungeneset–Bergsbotn corridor.

Open in maps ↗Boutique resort with restaurant — book the seafront cabins for direct aurora view from the hot tub.

Day 3
Senja → Gryllefjord ferry → Andenes
Open in maps ↗Take the seasonal ferry from Gryllefjord (book ahead in July). 1 hr 40 min crossing. Andenes whale safari runs every afternoon May–Sep.

Day 4
Vesterålen → Lofoten via Hadsel bridge
Open in maps ↗Drive south through Stokmarknes (Hurtigruten museum, 1 h stop), Sortland blue houses, cross the Hadsel bridge into Lofoten.

Lofoten Reine + Hamnøy
Open in maps ↗Drive E10 down to Reine. Sleep in a sjøhus over the water. Reinebringen sunrise hike day 6.

Lofoten → Bodø ferry
Open in maps ↗Moskenes → Bodø ferry, 3 hr 15 min. Book a window-table seat. The crossing across Vestfjorden is the trip's quiet highlight.

Open in maps ↗Drop the rental at Bodø airport. If you have 4 hours, take the local bus 18 to Saltstraumen tidal current — strongest in the world.
