  1. Day 1

    • Start: Tromsø centre

      Park at Prostneset P-hus (covered, kr 250/day). Cross the bridge by foot to Storsteinen cable car for the first scenic warm-up.

    • Ersfjordbotn

      27 km west of Tromsø through Kvaløya. Calm-water fjord at the road end, fish-and-chips at Bryggejentene if open.

    • Overnight: Sommarøy

      White-sand archipelago at the west tip of Kvaløya. Book a hot-tub cabin via Sommarøy Arctic Hotel — request the harbour-facing units.

  2. Day 2

    • Hillesøy lighthouse

      Easy 30-min walk from the Sommarøy bridge to the white lighthouse. Open Atlantic horizon — best aurora foreground in the Tromsø region after the city lights.
