Fjord buns (no oven)
Stovetop buns with cardamom and dried cranberries. Made in a covered pan over a tent stove.

Ingredients
- 250g flour
- 1 tsp instant yeast
- 150ml warm milk
- 30g sugar
- 1 tsp cardamom
- 30g dried cranberries
- 1 tbsp oil
Steps
- Mix dry ingredients in pot
- Add milk + oil, knead 3 min
- Rest 15 min covered
- Form 8 buns
- Pan over low heat, lid on, 8 min per side
🏕 Tent tip
Use a heat diffuser between flame and pan if your stove runs hot — burns from below before tops are cooked.
